The second call for proposals for the LIFSA fund is open on 18 September 2023. Applications will be accepted until 22 October 2023 at 23:59pm. Any applications received beyond this point cannot be accepted.

Yes, it is possible. The project duration specified in the regulations is a maximum of 12 months.

Yes, but please note that retroactive funding for expenses incurred prior to a LIFSA funding agreement is not possible.



No. Unfortunately, all applicant associations must be duly registered in South Africa. However, you can still participate in the project if you apply in partnership with a registered association.

Organisations working in Johannesburg and its surrounds (Gauteng province) will be selected.



Yes, private entities can apply to the fund only if they have a non-profit company status.
